Day 2 in Japan

We woke up wake too early! 4 am! So lots of computer time this morning! Was able to skype my nephews which was the highlight. So much fun! We had a long morning waiting for the game.

We beat Australia 11-3. We over all played well, offensively we came out and set the tone for the game. It was good to get that first game under our belt. Half of our team is wearing USA for the first time here in Japan, exciting stuff. Our team split up after World Cup. Half is here and half is in Venezuela for the Pan Am Qualifier. We are missing our girls... But enjoying the new additions for this team.

We are beyond tired! I think I've slept less than 10 hours since we left LA on Tuesday. I'm hoping tonight is the night for some good sleep.

Tomorrow we have a big day, a double header. Chinese Taipei and Japan. We look forward to competing again tomorrow.

Pan Am Team- We are wishing you all the best! Love and Prayers! Represent! Good luck against the Virgin Islands today!

Dreaming of a good nights sleep!

Thanks for taking the time to update us and let us know whats going on. I hope that you girls are able to catch up on your sleep and I know it is hard to play when you are exhausted. Good luck and keep doing what you do. Much Love!

"A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed"
(Proverbs 11:25, NIV).

Do you need strength and encouragement to make it through a difficult time? Maybe you´ve been through a big disappointment or going through a situation right now that´s just not really fair. I challenge you today, don´t sit around feeling sorry for yourself or allow that circumstance to overwhelm you. One of the best things you can do is to go help somebody else in need.

The Bible tells us, "God turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends." Isn´t it interesting, Job didn´t see breakthrough by sitting around feeling sorry for himself. He didn´t get healed when he prayed for himself. And we should pray for ourselves and present our requests to God, but if you really want to see things change, go out and be a blessing to someone else. Look for ways to refresh the people around you and watch how your own soul becomes refreshed in return. As you give, it will be given back to you, pressed down, shaken together and running over in every area of your life!

I just wanted to say that you do this to everyone that you come into contact with. You are such a blessing not only to your beautiful family and friends but also to people like myself. I have met you and talked to you several times and watched you play several ball games but I know that you have no idea who I am. You are a blessing to me as a great and wonderful person. THANK YOU!
