She is all over my heart, too. As a parent, I cannot fathom what her family is going through. Sweet Jesus, be near. Praying with you.

My nephew became a tumor of the brain at the age of three. Meal from the voice and the mouth is lost and seven years pass. It is every day of the operation and anti-cancer drug now. It cannot be thought that her story is a somebody else's problem.

I always get sadness in my heart and soul when I hear of a child with cancer. It seems unfair and unjust for children to get this horrible disease. When I was 12, my mother broke the news that 2 of our cousins had leukemia. Both succumbed to the disease. Eric was 2 and Becky was 9. I remember praying every night that they would get better. I had a hard time understanding why this happened. I know that Our Lord and Savior will take that sweet baby home in his loving arms. I will keep both Layla Grace and her family in my daily prayers.

Wow that is sad. I can sypathize with the family because of the way cancer has touched my life. My mom was diagnosed with Brest Caner twice. The fisrt time I was very young n it was not bad all she needed was radiation. The second time I was in 9th grade and she needed chemo it was very difficult to watch her become so sick especially during christmas.

Another way cancer has tocuhed my life was a neighbor of mine was also diagnosed with brest cnacer and soon after ovian. This cancer quicly spread into her entire body and I watched as she qucikly died befor emy eyes. My family and I had gone out to celebrate mtohers day and had gone to a mexican retraunt with my brother who had come from collage. When we get home we see an ambulance n police in front of her house. We learn later she died int he shower in her husbands arms.
I belive cancer touches all our lives but that also once it gets to the point where most would think it to be horrable the paintent is quite calm and sarean. They have execpted what is going to happen and almost, look forward to it. I deffintly pray for children who have cancer and I hope one day we can find a way to cure it so people int he world will no longer have to suffer from the horriable effects it leaves on them and their family and friends.
